David Micheal Potter, 51, of Gaston, died Sunday, September 7, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 10, at Bible Baptist Church, with Rev. Charlie Stroud officiating.Burial will be in Southland Memorial Gardens.The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Mr. Potter was born in Providence, RI, a son of the late Allen Potter, Jr. and Jeanette Potter Ayers.His step father Bill Ayers.He was a member of Bible Baptist Church and worked as a fabricator of Pex-Co for 27 years.He loved the Rams, Gamecock’s, and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife Nancy Furtick Potter; two sons, Joshua (Ashley) Potter and Shawn (Tanja) Potter; grandsons, Easton, Bryson and Sawyer; a sister, Marcia (Mike) Olson; brothers, Joey (Lisa) Potter and Allen (Rosanna) Potter; two nieces and five nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to Bill Shearman for his love and special care of David the past three weeks.
