David M. McMichael, Jr., 63, of Salley, died Thursday, January 30. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 1, at Rocky Grove Baptist Church of Salley with Rev. John O’Cain officiating.Burial will be in the church cemetery, the casket will be placed in the church at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Justin Davis, Jeff Williams, Bryan Vaughn, Austin Davis, Gerald Hoffman and Eddie Harmon. Mr. McMichael was born in Columbia, a son of Miriam Poole McMichael and the late David Martin McMichael, Sr.He was a member of Rocky Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his mother of Salley; two sisters, Emma Williams of Salley and Delaine and husband Steve Davis of Neeses; a number of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday before the service at Rocky Grove Baptist Church and other times at the home, 231 Woodbine Lane, Salley, SC.Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home of North (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) is in charge of arrangements.
