David Laval Williams, 51, of North, SC, died Thursday, December 11, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 13, 2014, at Pleasant Pines Baptist Church in Gaston with Rev. John Richbourgh officiating.Burial will be in the church cemetery.The casket will be placed in the church at 1:00 PM, one hour before the service. Mr. Williams was born in Richland County, a son of the late Laval Williams.He was a commercial carpenter and a member of Pleasant Pines Baptist Church. Survivors include his mother, Margaret Wingard Williams; two sons, Matthew Williams and Zachary Williams; a daughter, Caitlin Williams; brother, Johnnie (Sharon) Williams and sister, Tammy Phillips and companion, Belinda Rene Bell. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) who is assisting the family with arrangements.
