Mr. Charles Ray Dowd, 77, of Gaston, died Tuesday, October 3, 2017. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 6, at Southland Memorial Gardens. Mr. Dowd was born in Columbia, a son of the late Willie T. and Effa Ott Dowd. He is survived by his wife Janie L. Dowd.He was predeceased by a son, Willie Ray Dowd and brother, Owen Dowd.
