Cecil E. Adams

Cecil E. Adams, 74, of North, S. C., passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024.

A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 18, 2024, at First Baptist Church of North with Rev. Sean McElrath officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church and other times at the home of Mrs. Linda Adams.

Mr. Adams was born in Orangeburg County, a son of the late Bailey Adams and the late Bertie Lee Davis Adams.  Cecil was a former Volunteer Fire Fighter with North Fire Department, a Deacon with First Baptist Church of North, Owner/operator of Adams Electrical and a Vietnam Army Veteran.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Linda Brown Adams; daughters, Wendi Adams Smith and Carmen (Darren) Fanning; a special nephew, Curt (Robin) Brown; four grandchildren, Abby Smith (Lane Gerbers), Anna Smith, Bailor Fanning and Leah Fanning; siblings, G. W. Adams, Nettie Willis, Charles (Connie) Adams, Richard (Bobbie) Adams, Gene (Deborah) Adams, Jimmie (Janet) Adams, Roger Adams and Sandra (Bob) Hinkle and a number of nieces and nephews.  Mr. Adams was predeceased by siblings, Mary Frances Hall, David Adams, Majorie Smith, Cebie Adams and Kenny Adams.
