Burnett Maybank Flake, Sr., 83, of North passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Riverside Cemetery, 560 Jones Bridge Road, North, S. C. Mr. Flake was born in Orangeburg County, a son of the late Albert S. Flake, Sr. and the late Nancy McMichael Flake.He was a country man inside and out. Survivors include a son, Burnie (Paula) Flake; grandchildren, Raeven Flake and Leland Rose Flake; brothers, John D. (Shirley) Flake and Legrand (Joyce) Flake and a brother-in-law, Tommie Witt.Mr. Flake was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy H. Flake and four brothers and one sister. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
