Bruce F. Whetstone

Mr. Bruce F. Whetstone, Jr., 77, of Norway, SC, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM, Monday, October 2, 2017 at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will be in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery on W. E. Jeffcoat Road, Gaston, SC. Mr. Whetstone was born in Orangeburg County, a son of the late Bruce F. and Lillian Garrick Whetstone, Sr. He served in the U. S. Navy for four years and was retired from DAK Americas. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Smith Whetstone, daughter, Vicki W. Logan; grandchildren, Michelle Frost, Alex Whetstone, Hunter Logan and Alyssa Whetstone; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren, a brother, Phil Whetstone and a close family friend, Frances Roberts.He was predeceased by a son, Bruce F. Whetstone, III a sister, Sue W. Fort. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 400 PM, Monday, October 2, before the service at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) 4541 Savannah Highway, North, SC 29112.
