Bobbie Jean Lucas

Bobbie Jean Lucas, 80, of Columbia, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.

Graveside funeral services will be held at Lybrand Cemetery, 3150 Delree Street, West Columbia, SC 29170.

Mrs. Lucas was born in Richland County, a daughter of the late Carl Andrew Boozer, Jr. and the late Salina Bell Boozer.  She was known as "the keeper of strays" and loved her cats and birds.  She was married to the late Robert Gary Lucas.

Survivors include her daughters, Elizabeth Gail (Alfred) Rowe, Selina Carol (Joe) Keller and Barbara Ann (Brian) Boone; grandchildren, Cassandra, Allen, Robert, Michael, Jessica Erin and Alleigha; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Prisma Health Hospice or South Carolina Kidney Foundation.

Services will be private.
