Mrs. Betty Jane Sightler Sharpe

Betty Jane Sightler Sharpe, 81, of Gaston, S. C. passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Gaston First Baptist Church 121 Oakey Springs Drive Gaston, SC 29053 with Dr. Rex Simmons and Rev. Brady Henderson officiating.Burial will follow at Church Cemetery. Mrs. Sharpe was born in Gaston, SC a daughter of late Wigfall D. Sightler and the late Virginia Sharpe Sightler. She was a member of Gaston First Baptist Church, where she was a devout Christian. She adored her grandchildren and loved her flowers. Survivors include her husband of sixty years Charlie Ryan Sharpe; three sons, Charles (Sonja) Sharpe, Eugene Sharpe and Steven (Kim) Sharpe; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; three brother and two sisters. Mrs. Sharpe was predeceased by her parents, one sister and seven brothers and a daughter in law.
