Betty Lou Stabler Pritchard, 89, of Swansea, S. C. passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Swansea First Baptist Church with Rev. Matt Elmore and Rev. Terry Wilder officiating. Burial will follow in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Pritchard was born in Coalfield, Tennessee, a daughter of the late James Thomas Woods and the late Lillian D. Jones. She was a retired Executive Secretary at Ft. Jackson. She was also a member of Swansea First Baptist Church where she was a member of W.M.U. and the Metallic Club. She was married to the late Freddie Edward Stabler, Sr. and the late Elliot W. Pritchard.
Survivors include a son, Freddie E. (Catherine) Stabler, Jr.; a daughter, Rhonda (Fred) Rast; brother, Kenneth (Laura) Woods; sister, Eula Lloyd; grandchildren, Charlie Stabler, Debbie Stabler, Candice (John) Geiger; great-grandchildren, Alexis (Darius) Sutton, Adelyn Allen, McKenly Allen Ainsley Geiger, Caroline Geiger and Emma Geiger; a great-great-grandchild, Easton Sutton; and grandson-in-laws, Dusty Allen and Willie Edmond. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Sherrell Fulmer; brothers, Larry Woods and Danny Woods; sisters, Clara Able, Beverly Gunter and Billie Cox; and grandchildren, Claudia Edmond and Chandler Allen.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to caregivers, Rachel and Legrande Baker.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 PM, Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Swansea First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall and other times at the home of Mrs. Betty Pritchard.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Swansea First Baptist Church.
