Benjamin E. Moore

Benjamin E. Moore, 86, of Barnwell, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 17, 2024 at the home of Ronald and Cassandra Moore, 491 Country Club Road, Barnwell, SC 29812. Mr. Moore was a carpenter with Millwright Union 1776 for 20 plus years and a certified officer for Charleston Police Department. He was a loving and caring father and friend who never met a stranger and was known as a jack of all trades. Survivors include his children, Mary (Luke) Garwood, Darlene (Ray) Bradford, Ernie (Shirley) Moore, Stevie (Suzie) Moore, Pam Judy, Larry (Kim) Moore, Ronald (Cassandra) Moore, Symantha Crim, and William (Victoria) Moore; 28 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren and brothers, Jack (Juanita) Sharpe and Pete Sharpe. He was predecdeased by his mother Catherine Mitchum; and wives, Jeanette Flannery, Mary Jo Moore and Evelyn Collins.
