Anna M. Freeman

Graveside services for Anna M. Freeman, 81, of Lexington will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, June 6, 2016 at Pleasant Pines Baptist Church Cemetery in Gaston, SC with Rev. John Richburg officiating. Mrs. Freeman was born in Darlington, SC, a daughter of the late Wallace and Theo Byrd.She was the oldest sister to ten siblings and enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening.She retired from Allied Fibers after 38 years of service and was a member of Pleasant Pines Baptist Church.She was married to the late Bobby Allen Freeman for 50 years. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Lynn Richburg; grandson, Peyton Freeman-Richburg; two sisters, Hilda Spease and Helen Blackmon; and two brothers, Forest Byrd and Dwight Byrd. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harvest Hope Food Bank and The American Heart Association.
