Almeda Axson Zeigler

Almeda Axson Zeigler, 88, of Orangeburg, SC, died Monday, December 1, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Bull Swamp Baptist Church in North with Rev. Ryan Tucker and Pastor Lane Bembenek officiating.Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Zeigler was born in Woodford, SC, a daughter of the late Clayton and Carrie Lou Martin Axson.She worked as the financial secretary for the First Baptist Church of Walterboro for 37 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Orangeburg. Survivors include her husband, Mr. Jacob H. Zeigler, Jr.; daughter, Linda (Reid) Locklair; son, Buddy (JoAnne) Zeigler; daughter, Deborah (Arthur) Bonnett; son, Paul Zeigler; four grandchildren, Dianna Bembenek, Jacob Locklair, Allyson Faizon and Luke Bonnett and eleven great-grandchildren; a brother, Billy Axson; a sister, Barbara Axson and a sister-in-law, Wendy Zeigler.
