Alma Ray Dial

Alma Ray Dial, 89, of Swansea, S. C. passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Sardis Baptist Church, Swansea, S. C. 29160 with Rev. H. Larry Jones and Rev. Dean Reynolds officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 – 3:00 PM in the church.

Mrs. Dial was born in Lexington County, a daughter of the late Harmon Spires and the late Eva Lucas Spires.  Mrs. Dial was predeceased by her husband, Sam Henry Dial.

Survivors include a daughter, Angela Baker (William Andrew Crooks, Sr.); grandchildren, Autumn (Robert III) Cole, William Andrew (Amanda) Crooks, Jr., Christopher Adam (Jennifer) Crooks, Erik Crooks and Lucas Crooks; great grandchildren, Shalee Crooks, Jada Crooks, Nathan Crooks, Logan Crooks, Kaidence Cole and Wyatt Cole; sisters, Janie Harrison and Gussie Spires and a number of nieces and nephews and her dog, Toddles.  Mrs. Dial was predeceased by two sisters, Bernice Williamson and Sylvia Jeffcoat.
